Luis Alberto is an instructor of Broadcast & New Media Journalism at FIU, and a Media Consultant. A native Puerto Rican, he has worked as a media executive for ESPN, The Weather Channel, Univision, and Telemundo. His passion is beach volleyball, which he played professionally.
Luz Gonzalez is a Multimedia Producer majoring in Digital + Interactive Media with a minor in Social Media and E-Marketing Analytics. She has produced magazines, live newscasts, podcasts, and photo essays. Additionally, Luz serves as Liaison Chair for FIU PRSSA, where she discovered her passion for public relations.
Jacob Tandron is a Digital TV and Multimedia Production major while also working on a Sports Journalism Area of Concentration. Jacob aspires to work in production of news stations and/or film studios. In his spare time Jacob enjoys reading books, watching films and tv shows, and exploring new coffee shops.
Gabrielle Hernandez is a senior at Florida International University who loves utilizing her creative passions. Hernandez owns her own business where she works as commercial photographer in the fashion and modeling industry. She hopes to make this her full-time career and be able to work with brands and models all over the world.
Andrew Novitsky is a Digital Communications major from FIU and a highly motivated, creative media professional with 7+ years of experience in visual storytelling, branding, marketing, and content creation. His background spans photography, videography, graphic design, UX, communications, and management, giving him a versatile and adaptable skill set.
Elizabeth Dedos is a senior working towards her Bachelor's degree in Digital Communications and Media, while also minoring in Social Media and E-Marketing Analytics. With her Cuban and Puerto Rican roots, she hopes to one day become the Social Media Manager for a major company.
Samuel Valbuena is a Digital Communications in Media at Florida International University and is an eager learner in the fields of multimedia production. Samuel is excited about what the future holds and looks forward to expanding his knowledge, exploring new creative possibilities, and continuing to grow as a creative professional.
Maria Koreneva is a Digital Interactive Media major at Florida International University with a minor in Psychology. She serves as the Web Designer for HEAT'D Season 10, focusing on layout, usability, and visual storytelling. Her interests include UX/UI design and digital branding. In her free time, she enjoys creative projects, sports, and travel.
Nathan Masachi is a senior at Florida International University studying digital communication and media with a minor in computer science. He is a creative polymath who blends technology, human-centered design, and social impact. He aspires to become a product designer. He will be graduating in Spring 2026.
Zachary Yiris is a Digital Communication major in the Digital and Interactive Media track. His family is Cuban American, but he was born and raised in Miami, Florida. His favorite hobbies include drawing, eating, watching anime, and listening to country music. His goal is to work at an animation studio.
Helene Juarez is a student at FIU studying Digital Communication and Media. She is passionate about graphic design, video editing, and visual storytelling, with a goal of creating meaningful content that resonates with audiences. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, working out, and creating visually engaging digital content.
Zaneta Brennan a senior attending FIU is studying Digital TV and Multimedia Production. Her passion if film, acting and working in the entertainment industry. Zaneta is currently learning more about content creations and how to attract an audience which she actually finds interesting. Overall Zaneta is passionate about many things but she is willing to learn anything that comes her way.
Jianna Clark is a Digital TV & Multimedia Production major at FIU, born and raised in Philadelphia. She is interested in sports media and digital storytelling that connects fans to the culture and game beyond the scoreboard. Outside of media, she enjoys traveling the world and staying active.
Antonella Del Carpio is a Digital TV and Multimedia Production student at FIU. A Miami native with Peruvian roots, she specializes in camera work and editing. Antonella is a passionate cinephile and music lover, constantly drawing inspiration from the media she consumes. She loves to see ideas get brought to life.
My name is Lynsey Silva, an interactive digital media major aspiring to work in social media. Born and raised in Broward, I love fashion, traveling, and entertainment. I’m passionate about creative storytelling, digital trends, and connecting with people, and I have a lifelong love for animals and visual pop culture.
Saylid Lopez is a Digital Media and TV major with a minor in English and Certificate in Film Studies. Originally from Venezuela, Saylid is on being a writer and director for film and has produced short film and documentaries in that medium.
Aaron Bujeiro is a Mass Communications major who's passion is in human connection and storytelling. He was born and raised in Miami, and spends his free time with family, friends, at the gym, or behind a book. He has a strong interest in community service and serving his parish.
Tascia Chamberlain is a Digital Media Communications major with a focus in Interactive Media born and raised in Miami, Florida. She hopes to become a multimedia content creator and pursue a career in beauty marketing. Outside of media, she enjoys collecting trinkets, painting, and exploring creativity through multiple artistic outlets.
Patrick Loeber is a digital media major with a passion for storytelling and journalism. He is pursuing a career as a reporter, bringing strong technical skills in video production, editing, and digital content creation to produce clear, compelling stories across digital and broadcast platforms.
Juan Moreno is majoring in Digital TV and Multimedia Production. Taking media studies in high school paved the way for his current major, focusing on filming techniques and the specifics of cinematography. In his downtime, he immerses himself in visualizing and writing stories that he wants to see become a reality.
Mia Mut is a digital communications major with a focus in social media marketing. She’s passionate about creating engaging content and helping brands connect with audiences through effective digital strategies. Mia aims to stay ahead of trends and make an impact in the world of online communication.
Emily Toraya is a digital communications and media major with a focus on interactive media. She is an active member of FIU’s Honors College and engages in campus volunteering and student-led events. A Miami native, Emily is passionate about using digital media to uplift community voices and local brands citywide.
Ronnie Godinez is a Miami native majoring in Digital Communications and Media at FIU. From Miami, Florida, He is passionate about storytelling and hopes to build a career in the sports world, working for a major sports news network in the future.
Amanda Lazo is a Digital TV + Multimedia Production major at FIU, and is also pursuing a certificate in Social Media and Digital Marketing Analytics. She is a first-generation student from Hialeah, Florida, and hopes to work in the entertainment industry or in entertainment journalism. Her hobbies include reading, shopping, and going to the movie theater.
Will Price is a Digital Media major with a Minor in Art. He was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, but lives in Miami while attending university. He is a combat infantry veteran with one deployment to Iraq. Will’s passion in life lies wherever there is adventure and a good story to create.
Lazaro is a Multimedia Production Major, a scriptwriter, and a multimedia artist. He has a passion for storytelling and for executing on his vision artistically. Politics, the world, and humanity are extremely important and finds itself into all of his works, whether it be art, articles, and stories.
Marisol Morales is a Miami native and senior majoring in Digital Communication and Media with a minor in Marketing. She has developed strong skills in content creation and social media strategy and hopes to pursue a career helping brands grow their online presence through meaningful digital experiences.
